About Mike Leyden and Bill DeGroot
Island Canvas Design's Owner, Mike Leyden, and Manager, Bill DeGroot, have over 40 years of experience with canvas design and repair. They have been serving customers in the Delmarva region since Mike founded the company in 1994.
Mike and Bill have extensive experience with commercial awnings, canopies, and drop curtains. Together with their staff, they value punctuality, quality work, and innovative design.
Mike and Bill have also designed and manufactured air restriction systems and temperature control systems for NASA and the US Military. They are also proud to work with the Wounded Warrior Project.
